Photography classes to be offered at SCC this spring

Published: 03/12/2014

These classes, taught by experienced professional photographers, will provide a more hands-on learning experience and are appropriate for the beginner to the more advanced amateur photographer.

Classes range from one session to three sessions, with costs from $25 to $75 per course.

“You don’t need big, expensive camera equipment to take great photos,” said Lynn Watkins, continuing education instructor. “In our classes you will take your photos to the next level by learning to master your digital camera, whether it’s a point-and-shoot or DSLR.”

Photography classes still available this spring include:

  • Click and Learn (beginner-intermediate level)
  • Take a Picture of … (beginner-intermediate level)
  • Macro Photography (beginner-advanced level)
  • Seasonal Photography (beginner-advanced level)
  • Photo Fun With Photoshop Elements, The Next Step (intermediate-advanced level)

Coming this fall, photography classes will be offered in beginning and intermediate photography. The  schedule will be available online on Monday, July 14, at stchas.edu/learnforlife.
