SCC Student Members of Phi Beta Lambda Receive Awards at Statewide Conference in Jefferson City

The conference featured competitive events for individuals and teams, leadership training, workshop sessions and election of officers for the next year.

SCC student Peggy Glenn of St. Peters, Mo., placed fifth in Computer Applications and Tammy Slayden of O’Fallon, Mo., placed third in Word Processing. Glenn and Slayden placed third as a team in Desktop Publishing.

Phi Beta Lambda is an educational association of postsecondary student members preparing for careers in business. There are over 11,000 active members in the United States. Missouri has more than 400 members in 22 chapters.

St. Charles Community College is a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields.
