SCC Young People's Theatre to Hold Open Auditions for "Halloween: The Musical"

“Halloween:  The Musical” was written by Sean Andrews, YPT assistant director and choreographer.  The thrills and chills of Halloween come to life in this upbeat musical celebration for the whole family.

Roles are available for actors ages 8-18. Those auditioning should prepare 32 measures of a Broadway repertoire song and bring sheet music or an accompaniment CD.  A dance combination will also be taught.  Youths must be accompanied by a parent at the audition.

“Halloween:  The Musical” will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 16-17, and at 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 17-18, in the theater.  Tickets will go on sale Friday, Sept. 25.

SCC's Young People's Theatre offers children and young adults ages 8-18 the opportunity to learn all aspects of theater production through a variety of classes and participation in live theater productions.
