Young People's Theatre will present their performance of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater at St. Charles Community College. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and Sunday, Dec. 15. Tickets will be $10 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8050.
This play is an epic story of love, acceptance and what it means to be a hero, based on the novel by Victor Hugo and songs from the Disney film.
It features the book by Peter Parnell, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, orchestrations by Michael Starobin, incidental music and vocal arrangements by Michael Kosarin and dance arrangements by Rob Berman.
“The Hunchback of Notre Dame” was originally developed by Disney Theatrical Productions. It is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI (www.MTIShows.com).
