St. Charles Community College Women's Soccer will host the team's annual Winter Warm Up from Feb. 2-25, every Tuesday and Thursday evening, in the SCC College Center gym. The SCC Winter Warm Up is a clinic designed to prepare women's high school soccer players for the upcoming season.
This four-week clinic is a combination of conditioning, speed and agility, and foot skills work. Participants will train like players from SCC Women's Soccer - 2015 NJCAA Region XVI Champions.
“Players can expect to do a ton of touches on the ball every session, as well as get in shape,” said Josh Tyler, SCC Women's Soccer head coach. “The objective is for each player to come into the high school season a step ahead of everyone else.”
Two sessions will be held each night so players can choose which session works best with their schedule. The sessions will be held 6-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m.
The Winter Warm Up costs $100 per player. Checks should be written out to St. Charles Community College Athletics. To sign up online, visit goo.gl/pW5p7K.
