“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” is set in ancient Rome. A slave named Pseudolus schemes to gain his freedom by helping his master's son get the girl he desires. What ensues is a riot of mistaken identities, plot twists, coincidences and comic routines. There is humor in Sondheim's music, dance numbers and stock characters.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, July 23-25; 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, July 26-27; and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28.

“This is going to be a hilarious show,” said Christian Lewis, who will portray Hero. “The characters are really funny, and the songs are super catchy.”
