An opening reception is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1. The exhibitions are free and open to the public.
In the “Brian D. Smith: Works From a Sabbatical” exhibition, Smith will be exhibiting paintings, drawings and photographs produced during his recent sabbatical, part of which was spent doing a month-long residency at The Vermont Studio Center.
The “Photography Invitational” exhibition was curated by Christine A. Holtz, SCC gallery coordinator, and includes works by regional photographers including Jennifer Colten, Mark Douglas, Peter Gifford, Gina Grafos and Michael Schoenewies.
The gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building.
