Megan has been a four-year varsity starter for Fort Zumwalt East and a captain since her sophomore year. She was voted Defensive Player of the Year both her sophomore and junior year. As a junior, she was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference.
The SCC women's soccer team will be led by Head Coach Ashlee Slayback for her second season. Slayback, a former Texas A&M soccer star, ended her professional soccer career with the St. Louis Athletica in 2009 and has been coaching women's soccer ever since. She is also currently the head coach of the girls' soccer team at Ursuline Academy. Joining her for his second season is Assistant Coach Josh Tyler, who has more than 20 years of playing experience and also coaches for the Mid Rivers Soccer Club.
“We are very excited to add Megan to our team,” Slayback said. “She is going to be a big addition to the SCC Cougars.”
