Robertson, who is regional director at Goldman Sachs investment banking and securities firm, will put together a team likely to include a real estate attorney or agent and member/s of the SCC Human Resources Department.

“The committee will conduct research on relocation practices, make recommendations to the Board of Trustees and assist the new president with his/her relocation efforts, as necessary,” Pundmann said.  “This type of effort has become increasingly important to successful executive-level searches and I am confident Ryan and his team will provide the Board with good counsel.”

The Board is in the process of arranging interviews with six finalists who the Board identified at a Closed Session meeting on Monday, Aug. 15.  Pundmann said the College will announce the finalists within the next few days and that the Search Committee and other invited interviewers will complete interviews in August.  In June, the Board received a commitment from SCC President John McGuire to postpone his retirement into the fall to allow for a smooth transition.

Information regarding the college's presidential search can be found on the SCC website, www.stchas.edu/presidentialsearch.  “I look forward to a successful conclusion to the search and to naming the next SCC president,” Pundmann said.
