Berra and Trautman serve as co-captains of Mid Rivers Soccer Club, and they were both All-Academic varsity athletes at Francis Howell North.
Berra will bring strong discipline and academic excellence to the SCC women's soccer team, said Emily Holbrook, head coach. She has excelled in the classroom as well as on the field, and she is currently the editor of Francis Howell North's newspaper.
Trautman also earned varsity letters for Francis Howell North's golf team, who reached the state finals in fall 2010, and she was awarded Second-Team All-Conference. She has also been on Francis Howell North's Student Council.
“These young ladies will do well at SCC both on and off the field,” said Holbrook. “I'm glad to have them on board for our third year of SCC women's soccer.”
