Burbank was a four-year starter for the girls' soccer team at Fort Zumwalt South, and she has played premier-level soccer in the Metro St. Louis area since 2002. She was an honor roll student all four years in high school.

The Lady Soccer Cougars will be led by Head Coach Emily Holbrook for her second season.  Before coming to SCC, Holbrook was the assistant women's soccer coach at Shorter College in Rome, Ga., where she earned her master's degree in leadership.

“Ashley is going to bring a tremendous amount of skill and pace up front for us,” Holbrook said. “I definitely expect her to score some goals for the team.”

Holbrook will continue recruitment efforts during the spring high school soccer season.  For team information, call the SCC Athletics Department at 636-922-8250. Other NJCAA sports at the college include men's soccer, women's softball and men's baseball.
