Join SCC’s own Chef Merissa Wenzara as she walks us through how to make exotic international foods! Merissa will demonstrate preparation of these meals step-by-step. We may learn a bit more about each country’s culture and traditions along the way. Be sure to bring your notepad so you can dazzle your family and friends at home!

Meal: Colombian Empanadas

Country: Columbia (South America)

Description: these delicious cornmeal fritters are fried and made with shredded pork and beef filling, but also popularly made vegetarian with a potato filling. Served with a side of Ají Picante (Colombian Hot Sauce), this is your new favorite spicy, crunchy snack!
