University of Missouri-Columbia - Community College Scholar Award

Minimum qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Missouri community college
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher at the community college
• Enrollment at MU the semester immediately following graduation from community college
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Missouri resident

Renewal

Renewable for one additional year based on completion of 24 graded credit hours at MU with a 3.0 minimum MU cumulative grade point average. The renewal criteria above are reviewed in May at the end of each academic year.

1. Enroll at the University of Missouri the first regular (fall or spring) semester following graduation from a Missouri community college
2. Remain continuously enrolled at MU for each regular (fall and spring) semester
3. Enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester and complete at least 24 graded credit hours each academic year at MU
4. Maintain a cumulative MU grade point average of 3.0 or higher

The scholarship may be used for a maximum of four regular semesters or until receipt of a bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first.
