Computer Labs

ACE Center Academic Computer Lab

Purpose: The ACE Computer Lab is the most widely used "open lab" available to students, faculty, and staff on campus. The lab is located in the ACE Center on the second floor of the Social Sciences Building. Academic tutorials in a wide range of subjects, as well as access to the Internet, Microsoft Office, printing, scanning, and additional software programs are available.

Art Department Computer Lab

SCC Art Department computer lab is located in VAB 112 . This lab is for the use of art department faculty and SCC students currently enrolled in computer design courses. Use by anyone else must be approved by art department faculty.

The lab is accessible during posted hours during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. These hours may vary from semester to semester according to art faculty and staffing monitor availability and schedules.

Computer design instructors determine equipment access according to computer course and student experience level.

Accounting Lab

Located in TECH 203, this lab is for the use of accounting students. For lab hours, call the division office coordinator at 636-922-8419.

Nursing Lab

The computers in ADM 3105 are loaded with software designed to reinforce the nursing curriculum.

Hours vary.  Follow lab instructor's guidelines regarding use of lab.

Math Lab

Located in TECH 201, this lab is for the use of math students.

Hours vary. Contact your instructor.  

CAD/CAM Lab

Located in TECH 204, this lab is open to Computer-Aided Drafting students. For lab hours, call the Division Office Coordinator at 636-922-8419. 

Technology Computer Lab

Located in TECH 116, this lab is open to all students completing homework assignments. A lab assistant is available to answer general questions.

Accounting, math, and CAD/CAM students may also use this lab.

Recreational computer use (games, e-mail, chat ...) is not allowed in this lab.

Student Recreational Computers

Lobby of the Student Center has five computers for students to use e-mail and the Internet. Questions? Call 636-922-8544.

CC 101 has six computers for students to use for e-mail and the Internet.
