General Information:
Today, more than ever before, there exists a wide variety of
financial aid programs to accommodate every student who wishes to
attend college or university. These programs are available through
federal, state, and local sources. Some are grants, based
primarily on financial need, which do not require repayment, while
others are loans with low interest rates and generally do not
require repayment until six months after graduation. In
addition to these programs, there are tax credits, college savings
incentives, and assistance to students with special needs.

types of financial aid. The information is derived from
sources given by federal and state agencies.
