What paper work will I need to enroll at SCC?
All you will need to bring with you is your Resident Alien Card.
Do I have to take the Academic Skills Assessment test?
If you are enrolling in 6 or more credit hours you must take the test. Once you have completed the test you should make an appointment to speak with an academic counselor.
Will I have to take English as a Second Language (ESL) courses?
Depending upon your Academic Skills Assessment score in English, your counselor may advise you to take an English as a Second Language course. This course will help you to be more successfull in your other English classes.
