Terri Ingracia’s colleagues and residents at St. Peters Manor could go on for hours
describing the talents and traits of this 1995 SCC nursing graduate and recipient of the
2008 SCC Distinguished Alumni Award.
Each one notes that her care and devotion at work set her apart and make Ingracia an asset in her field and
to our community.
“I am proud to count Terri among our alumni who have gone on to make a significant
difference in our community,” said Mary Stassi, SCC health occupations coordinator.
After finishing her nursing degree at SCC, Ingracia became a charge nurse, worked
three years at the Jewish Center for the Aged in Chesterfield, Mo., and served in various nurse
manager positions before being named director of nurses at St. Peters Manor in 1999.
She, like many other SCC nursing alumni, attributes much of her success to the education
she received at SCC.
Ingracia also sits on the Board of the Missouri Director of Nurses Association,
where she has been instrumental in increasing its membership.
